CNH India Marks Milestone: 700,000 Tractors Produced At Greater Noida

CNH India Celebrates a Historic Production Milestone with 700,000 Tractors Manufactured, Highlighting Commitment to Sustainable Agricultural Innovation and Local Market Growth.

At its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, CNH, a leader in the worldwide agriculture market with its New Holland and Case IH brands, celebrates the production of 700,000 tractors. Between 35 and 120 horsepower, the company produces about 2,000 different tractor models for the two brands. During his recent visit to India, CNH's new CEO, Gerrit Marx, attended the milestone ceremony, reaffirming the company's dedication to this market and its ongoing expansion.

The plant has increased its capacity to produce 60,000 tractors annually since it started production in 1999. At the moment, the Greater Noida facility produces axles, engines, Power Take Offs (PTOs), and tractors for the local market as well as for export to more than 75 nations in North America, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.

With almost 1,200 workers, the Greater Noida facility, which spans 60 acres, is one of the most modern tractor manufacturing facilities in the nation. With energy from solar panels mounted on its roof and an ongoing afforestation project that follows the Miyawaki Project Methodology, which involves densely planting a variety of native woodland species, the facility takes pride in encouraging sustainability.

CNH India has been operating in the nation under the names Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment for more than 25 years, fulfilling its commitment to supply top-notch products from its "Made in India" activities. The business established CNH Capital India, its financing division, in 2018 to provide financing options for all of its products.
