Mahindra Tractor Sold 27557 Tractors, Registered 15% Hike In January 2025

Mahindra tractor sales registered a 30% hike in January 2025, and the tractor sold 65453 units.

As per a recent BSE report, Mahindra Tractor reported a sales gain of 15% by selling 27557 units in January 2025 against 23948 units in January 2024.
The domestic Mahindra tractor sales also show a hike of 15% by selling 26305 units in January 2025. The 22972 unit sales were recorded in January 2024.
Mahindra tractor exports were reported 28% raise this month. The company exported 1252 units in January 2025 compared to 976 units in January 2024.
Hemant Sikka, President of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector, offered his thoughts on the performance, said, “We have sold 26305 tractors in the domestic market during January’25 at a growth of 15% over last year. Better soil moisture levels due to the above normal southwest monsoon and high-water storage levels in major reservoirs has aided increase in Rabi sowing. Continued Government support on various rural schemes, government support on Agri subsidies and expectations of higher budget allocation in the upcoming Union budgets are positives to boost tractor demand going forward. In the exports market, we have sold 1252 tractors, a growth of 28% over last year.”

Mahindra Year-to-Date Sales Report 2025 [April - January (10M)]
In the domestic market, the company sold 350632 units and recorded a 10% gain from April to January 2025 duration. Additionally, on the export side, the company also recorded a rise of 28% by selling 10561 units.
The total year-to-date Mahindra Tractor sales were 364180 units as against 330690 units. This shows a 10% hike in April to January 2025 sales.
