VST Zetor Introduces 3 New Tractors In High Horse-Power Range For Indian Farmers

VST and Zetor jointly developed 3 new tractors in the power range of 41 hp to 50 hp at the VST Zetor plant in India to provide reliable solutions for addressing diverse farming needs.

VST Zetor Private Limited, a joint venture between HTC Investments and VST Tillers Tractors Limited, has unveiled 3 new tractors with a 41-50 hp power range. These newly launched tractors – VST Zetor 4211, VST Zetor 4511, and VST Zetor 5011 – are developed with a combined effort of VST and Zetor after taking valuable inputs from the Indian farming community. 

The high-power tractors are designed to meet the farming needs for a variety of farming applications including land preparation and post-harvest operations. Further, the new VST Zetor tractor models are highly compatible with heavy-duty tasks and well-suited for haulage, primary tillage, and secondary tillage operations.

During the launch of new tractors in the high horse-power range, the Managing Director VST Zetor, Antony Cherukara, said, the launch of these tractors is a significant milestone as with these models we are entering into the 60 percent of the tractor industry of India i.e. the higher HP segment. 

Additionally, he said, VST Zetor has launched these tractors after thorough research and understanding of the requirements of the Indian farming community. These tractors will help to strengthen our brand and build a much stronger tractor portfolio to cater to a wide range of farming applications and geographical market needs.  

Specifications Of VST Zetor’s New Tractors  

The new tractors – VST Zetor 4211, VST Zetor 4511, and VST Zetor 5011 – are indigenously manufactured at the VST Zetor plant in India. They are driven by a powerful direct injection (DI) engine coupled with a fully constant mesh transmission including helical gears to ensure power transmission efficiently. 

The horse-power range for VST Zetor 4211, VST Zetor 4511, and VST Zetor 5011 is 42 hp, 45 hp, and 50 hp respectively. These tractors feature VZmatic hydraulics with an auto depth and draft control system to raise, hold or lower the farm implements during ploughing, tilling, and harvesting. Designed with aerodynamics, these models offer low air drag for fuel-efficient performance.

Additionally, the models get the optimum turning radius to navigate through tight spaces and turn at the end of rows efficiently without damaging crops. They provide a wide platform with adjustable seats and double-acting power steering to ease the farming duties with comfort. The dual-acting power steering helps reduce the effort required to steer and balance the weight equally.
