With 99,292 Units Sold, Retail Tractor Sales Raised By 25.77% In December 2024

FADA's December 2024 Tractor Sales Report Shows Significant Growth, with a 25.77% increase Across Brands.
FADA has released the December retail tractor sales, showing a 25.77% overall increase. 99,292 units were sold in December 2024 compared to 78,944 units in December 2023.
The sales report shows profits for all the OEMs, including Mahindra Tractor, Swaraj, Sonalika, John Deere, New Holland Tractor, John Deere Tractor, and others.
Brands Market Shifts in Retail Tractor Sales Report December 2024
Mahindra & Mahindra maintained its market share by 0.92% in December 2024. The company sold 24,289 units last month, an increase of 30.68% compared to 18,586 units in December 2023.
Swaraj Division of Mahindra & Mahindra also registered a profit of 26.71%. The company significantly increased its market share by 0.14%, representing Swaraj Tractor’s average performance in the market.
Sonalika Tractor saw a notable increase in its retail tractor sales. The company sold 12,766 units in December 2023, in contrast to the 11,350 units sold in the same month last year. These figures indicate a positive trend for the company by 12.47%. However, Sonalika Tractor also registered a 1.52% decline in market share in the same period.
TAFE Limited's sales increased 43.38%, while its market share increased 1.43%. The company sold 11,555 units in December 2023, compared to 8,059 units in December 2024.
However, Escorts Tractor dropped its market share by 1.02%. The company’s retail sales also increased by 13.38%. Escorts Tractor sold 9,252 units in December 2024.
Eicher Tractor reported a slight increase in retail sales report by 23.46%. The tractor sold 6,971 units as against 5,646 units in December 2023. The company lost its market share by 0.13% this month.
John Deere Tractor experiences an increase in retail tractor sales by 21.45%. In December 2024, the company sold 6,351 units, and 5,229 units were sold in the same month last year. John Deere Tractor also lost its market share position by 0.22%.
New Holland saw a positive performance in retail tractor sales despite experiencing a 20.72% growth. But, the company lost its market share by 0.17% in December 2024.
On the other hand, Kubota Tractor registered a 2.29% loss in retail sales. The company sold 1,488 units in December 2024, more than the 1,523 units sold in December 2023. The company also lost its market share by 0.43%.
Along with these, the other brands combined sold 4,340 units in December 2024 as against 2,649 units sold in December 2023. The report shows an increase of 63.83%. The market share also increases by 1.01%.
